These terms apply to everything you buy from https://elmundodelaudio.com. The store is operated by Audio World LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company based in Lawrence, Massachusetts. By placing an order you agree to what is written here.
All prices are in U.S. dollars. We try to keep stock counts accurate, but if something sells out between your order and our packing table, we tell you and refund that item in full.
Prices can change without notice. The price that applies to your order is the one shown when you check out. If a product is listed at an obviously wrong price — a typo that puts a $700 subwoofer at $7 — we may cancel the order and refund you rather than honor it. We will always contact you first.
Wholesale pricing is for approved shops and installers. Applications are reviewed by hand and approval is at our discretion. Dealer prices are for resale or installation in your business, not for public resale below our retail price on marketplaces. We can revoke dealer status if that happens.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Financing through Affirm or Afterpay, where offered, is a separate agreement between you and that provider — we are not the lender and we do not set those terms. Your order ships once payment is confirmed.
Power ratings, impedance, sensitivity and dimensions come from the manufacturer. We publish them as given. In car audio, "max power" numbers in particular are marketing figures and do not reflect continuous handling. If a spec matters for your build, ask us before you buy and we will tell you what we actually know about that product.
Photos are representative. Finishes, grilles and packaging can change between production runs without the manufacturer telling us.
We sell equipment. We do not install it and we are not responsible for how it gets installed. That includes damage to the product, to your vehicle, to its electrical system, or to anything else caused by an installation — whether you did it yourself or paid someone to do it.
Car audio draws serious current. Wrong gauge wiring, a missing fuse, a bad ground or the wrong impedance load can start a fire. If you are not sure, hire a professional installer. We are glad to answer questions before you buy, but that is advice, not a guarantee of any outcome.
Sustained high sound pressure damages hearing permanently. Many cities and states also limit how loud a vehicle can be in public. How you use what you buy — and staying within your local noise laws — is on you.
Products carry whatever warranty the manufacturer offers. We do not add our own warranty beyond the return window in our returns policy. Manufacturer warranties usually exclude damage from improper installation, overpowering and water.
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for that order. We are not liable for lost time, lost work, vehicle downtime, or damage to other equipment.
You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else got in. We can close accounts that are used for fraud or abuse.
We can update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it. The date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law rules. These terms are written in English; the English version governs if any translation differs.
